Nestor · Features · Sheet 01 of 06

you want every rep to know who to call next. here’s the machinery that does it.

Six instruments, one record. Stages, scores, forecast, timeline and alerts all read from the same deal, so nothing on the board contradicts anything in the report.

§ 02 — The instruments

six capabilities, each drawn at working scale

Every panel below comes from the Copperline Tools workspace: same reps, same customers, same October. Read one and you can predict the others.

stages you name yourself

A pipeline is a description of how your team sells, so Nestor lets you write it. Rename stages, reorder them, attach a win probability, and require a next step before a deal may leave a column.

Add a Negotiation stage on a Tuesday and the eight open deals re-weight the forecast before you close the dialog.

In the workflowA sales lead edits stages once a quarter; reps never touch the structure, only the cards.

a ranking you can argue with

Engagement points come from opens, replies and pricing-page visits. Fit points come from role, company size and industry. The score is their sum, and both halves are visible on hover, so a rep can disagree with it in specific terms.

Choose which behaviours earn points and how many; the ranked list re-sorts the moment you save.

In the workflowReps open the list at nine, select the top two, and drop them into a sequence without leaving the table.

two views, one number

Closed, commit and best case are kept apart and weighted by the probabilities you set on each stage. Switch between team and rep and the total never changes, only the slicing does.

A dashed quota line sits across the chart, so the gap to target is a distance you can see.

In the workflowThe Monday review opens on the team line; each rep’s row is the answer to “and yours?”.

every thread, in the order it happened

Connect an inbox and a calendar and the emails, calls and meetings file themselves under the right person and company. Merging happens on import, so one contact is one timeline.

Unread replies carry a blue dot; a follow-up reminder pins to the top of the drawer.

In the workflowWhen an account changes hands on Thursday, the new owner reads the history in a single scroll.

a quiet nudge before a deal goes cold

Set an idle threshold, in days. Any deal that crosses it is flagged amber on the board and queued here with the last message attached, so the follow-up writes itself from context.

Reminders arrive at the hour you chose, and snooze with one key.

In the workflowManagers watch the count of stalled deals on the board header; reps clear them from this panel.

one keystroke from any record

Press ⌘K and type a company, a contact or a verb. Deals, people and actions share one list, so logging a call is three keys rather than three screens.

The same shortcuts work inside tables: J and K to move, S to snooze, ⌘S to save.

In the workflowReps keep their hands on the keyboard between calls and never hunt through menus.

Marginalia

Software for sales should shorten the distance between a signal and a phone call.

§ 03 — A week with Nestor

how the instruments hand off to one another

Each feature produces the input for the next. That chain is the product, and it runs on a weekly beat.

MON · 09:00

the forecast opens the review

Managers read the team line against quota, then each rep’s row. Disagreements are about deals, not spreadsheets.

TUE–THU

scores and alerts steer the calls

Reps work the ranked list from the top and clear stall alerts from the bottom. The timeline supplies the last thing said.

FRI · 16:00

stages record what moved

Cards dragged during the week settle the column totals, and the Monday forecast is already updated.

§ 04 — Security & reliability

your pipeline is the most sensitive document in the company

Nestor treats it that way. Access is explicit, changes leave a trail, and the board stays available while you work.

  • Access
    Roles and permissions

Decide who sees which pipelines, who can export, and who can edit stages. Custom roles are on the Oracle plan.

  • Identity
    Single sign-on

Sign in through your identity provider on Oracle, so leaving the company closes the CRM at the same moment.

  • Trail
An audit log of who did what

Role changes, exports and stage edits are written down with a name and a time.

  • Transit
    Encrypted connections

Every request between the app, your inbox and your calendar travels over encrypted channels.

  • Uptime
    A board that stays open

Changes save as you drag, and the “Synced” stamp tells you when the last write landed.

  • Exit
    Your data stays exportable

Contacts, companies and deals leave as CSV whenever you ask.

§ 05 — Integrations

the tools your team already keeps open, wired to the timeline

Connect once and the events land beside the emails and meetings that came before them.

  • INT-01NotionLinked briefs
  • INT-02ZendeskSupport threads
  • INT-03ZoomMeeting records
  • INT-04LinearShipped work
  • INT-05IntercomChat history
  • INT-06ShopifyOrder events
  • INT-07TrelloTask cards
  • INT-08PagerDutyIncident notes
